Moses is the sire of our Tita, and grandsire of Fabio. He entered our breeding program after catching our eye as a youngster. Although his breeding has our Ch. Chinabear Manolete behind him far back in his pedigree, he does not carry much of the same linage. Our decision to use him was based on the idea of breeding type to type as we felt that he was very much the same type of dog as our Fiesta, so the breeding was made. We had one of the most impressive litters ever out of those two, but unfortunately three of the five puppies contracted Parvo, and died. We were only able to save the one girl in the litter, and that was Tita. We also did a breeding with Moses to our Banner (Fiesta daughter), who we co-owned with Carmen Blankenship. That litter resulted in an incredibly beautiful and super sound dog we called Armani. He would have been a once-in-a-lifetime dog, but unfortunately he and Fiesta were bitten by a sandfly mosquito that carried a deadly disease called Leishmaniosis. Within a month we lost both of them. It was truly a horrible blow to our hearts and our breeding program. Armani’s litter sister, Daisy, was kept by Carmen, and she was bred to Stetson. That breeding produced Fabio. We believe that Moses is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs and a wonderful producer considering he is selectively bred. We are very grateful to his owners and our very good friends, Wayne and Lynda Eyster for not only allowing us to use him, but also to present him on some very special occasions resulting in a first AOM at the 2003 Natl. and BISS at the Atlanta Specialty. Moses has done some very nice winning with his owner handler Wayne as well. We thank you, Wayne and Lynda, for sharing Mo with us!
